Welcome to ServYou. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ServYou website, mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
By accessing or using ServYou, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
ServYou is an on-demand services marketplace operating in South Africa. We connect customers ("Customers") with independent service providers ("Pros") across categories such as home services, beauty, automotive, errands and more. ServYou is a technology platform; we are not the employer of any Pro and do not provide the underlying services ourselves.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use ServYou. By using the Platform you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete.
When you book a service through the Platform, you enter into a direct agreement with the Pro. ServYou facilitates the booking, communication and (where applicable) payment processing. Prices, scope of work and timelines are agreed between you and the Pro before the service starts. All payments processed through the Platform are in South African Rand (ZAR) and may be subject to applicable taxes and platform fees.
Pros agree to provide services professionally, lawfully, safely and in line with the booking details. Pros are responsible for any licences, insurance and qualifications required to perform their services in South Africa.
Customers agree to provide accurate information about the work required, to grant safe and reasonable access to the service location, and to treat Pros with respect. Abusive, discriminatory or unsafe behaviour may result in account suspension.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ServYou is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any service performed by a Pro. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount of platform fees you paid to ServYou in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
All content on the Platform — including the ServYou name, logo, design, text, graphics and software — is owned by or licensed to ServYou and protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
